What is ISO Certification?

ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is an independent, international organization that sets the standards for security and safety, worldwide. ISO consults experts all over the world on how to define the standards for excellence when it comes to security.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard on how to manage information security. It details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) – the aim of which is to help organizations make the information assets they hold more secure.

How does ISO Work?

Information security management defines and manages controls that an organization needs to implement to ensure that it is sensibly protecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of assets from threats and vulnerabilities. ISMS helps to safeguard the data nearest to accuracy with regular reviews and analysis.
